Arrival and departure

You can check into your suites and rooms from 3 pm until 10 pm on the day of arrival (in October until 9 pm). On the day of departure, your accommodation is available until 11 am. Reception is not staffed from 10 pm until 8 am.

Reception opening hours

During the high season, reception is open daily from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. 

Our reception staff will be happy to assist you in October as follows:

Monday - Thursday: 9 am to 9 pm
Friday - Saturday: 8 am to 10 pm
Sunday: 8 am to 9 pm

Payment & deposit

Full payment of the stay and a security deposit of CHF 300 in the form of a credit card authorization are due upon check-in.

For group bookings made by foreign companies, organizations, government representatives or similar institutions, the following regulation applies for bookings of three (3) rooms or suites or more:

  • A deposit of CHF 5,000 will be blocked on the credit card at check-in.
  • The deposit is only blocked on the credit card and is not debited.
  • This deposit serves as security against possible damage or unpaid consumption.
  • After the stay, the amount will be released in full, provided there are no damages or outstanding invoices.

Kitchen use

The use of certain kitchen equipment (e.g. stove and / or oven) is subject to an additional fee of CHF 250 (final cleaning costs). Cooking utensils are provided when booking the use of the kitchen.

Cancellation policy

Please note that cancelations can only be accepted in written form.

During the winter season your reservation of a refundable booking can be cancelled free of charge up to 14 days before arrival. We will then charge 100% of the total booked price. This policy also applies to delayed arrivals or early departures as well as no-shows. For reservations in the winter season a deposit of 30% of the total price is due at the time of booking.

During summer season your reservation of a refundable booking can be cancelled free of charge up to 7 days before arrival. We will then charge 100% of the total booked price. This policy also applies to delayed arrivals or early departures as well as no-shows.

Special cancellation policies apply over the festive season.

In general, the cancellation of a non-refundable booking is not possible. If you have to cancel your vacation nonetheless, please contact us and we will look for a possible solution on a case by case basis.

Special cancellation policy Christmas / New Year

Your reservation over Christmas / New Year can be cancelled free of charge up to 90 days before arrival. A deposit of 30% of the total price is due at the time of booking. Should we receive a cancellation less than 90 days prior to arrival, we will charge 100% of the total price booked. 90 days prior to arrival, the remaining 70% of the total price of the reservation are due to be paid.

Seasons

Summer season: 01 May to 30 November (subject to change)
Winter season: 01 December to 30 April (subject to change)

Advance payment

During the winter season a deposit of 30% of the total price is due at the time of booking. If the booking is cancelled according to the cancellation policy and within the cancellation period, the deposit will be refunded.

For bookings for the period over Christmas / New Year, the remaining 70% of the total price of the booking is due 90 days before arrival.

Parking

The Postresidenz am See has its own underground and outdoor parking spaces, which can be rented by hotel guests for CHF 18 and CHF 15 per night respectively. Parking spaces with electric charging stations are also available. It is advisable to book the parking space when booking the suites / rooms.

Meeting room

Our meeting room for 10-15 people can be rented on a daily basis. Catering and additional services provided during the usage of the meeting room will be charged separately. To book the meeting room, as well as for further information, please contact the reception.

Children and teenagers

Extra beds are not provided in double rooms. Children up to 7 years old, sleeping in their parents' bed, stay free of charge in a double room (please note when booking). Baby cribs up to 3 years old are provided free of charge. For accommodation of 3 persons or more, we recommend booking a 1-bedroom suite or 2-bedroom suite.

Spa

The wellness area at Postresidenz am See is exclusively available to our hotel guests and is open from 11:00 to 21:00.

Family-friendly times: to ensure that families can also enjoy the amenities of our wellness area, children under the age of 16 are welcome to visit from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

Please note that outside of these times, access to the spa area is exclusively for guests 16 years and older.

Smoking

Smoking is prohibited in the hotel. Many rooms and suites have private balconies where smoking is allowed.

Package Terms

For certain package bookings, Postresidenz am See reserves the right to provide a certain number of rooms and thus offer limited availability. Unused services cannot be refunded. The hotel cannot accept any liability for third-party services provided by third parties.
